How I Use It
I use Edmodo to connect with students and families. It is also one of the primary organizational tools I use within my classroom to help students manage their assignments and time.
With the focus many school districts are placing on technology integration and personalized learning, Edmodo makes all the difference. Edmodo allows my students to stay organized and receive feedback with a familiar, facebook-like, layout. The ability to safely share information with my students, and let parents create a linked account, narrows the gap between home and school.
Edmodo.com is very user friendly! The layout is easily navigable. Sharing files and announcements are relatively easy tasks. The exception to this is sharing Google Drive created documents and presentations, which has proven tricky to navigate and occasionally leaves students without supplementary materials.
The Edmodo App is very popular among students. It's layout, while not as useful as friendly or useful as the website, lets students perform most of the primary functions, including view announcements, asking questions, submitting homework, and completing polls.
