a serious game for increasing motivation

My Take

The initial goal of this program, that is to translate wikipedia in other languages, is of course very admirable. However, the approach to language teaching is a bit sloppy. The game does not provide explantations for grammatical structures which means that the user might enter the correct answer to a question based on the wrong presuppositions. This will only become evident in a later stage when the grammatical structures become more complex in nature. Therefor, I think that this program is a good aid for drilling pre-taught structures, but not as the primary source of instruction for actual beginners.
