How I Use It
Great for use as a classroom supplement. Students can learn on their own time while completing different lessons. Good for flipped classroom or extra practice.
My Take
I think this tool is really helpful, especially to students who need a little extra help on their own time. It is also great for quick learners who finish assignments ahead of time. Headphones are a necessity if used during class time. To push this a little up the SAMR model, I would suggest using a website, like voicethread, where students can talk about what they have learned in a foreign language. A student could also use a voice recorder, or presentation site like Microsoft Office Mix or Prezi, to record a unique sentence. Students in the class could work together to determine what was said, or post to a classroom website.
