How I Use It
Dropbox is a free cloud storage program that is great for teachers and students to save their work easily, sync files between computers, share with them others, and create backups. Dropbox is a must-have for anyone who needs to make their files readily available to multiple users or computers. We do not have a school server at our school. so we utilize Dropbox so students can save their work and access it anywhere in the school building as well as at home. Dropbox also gives teachers the ability to create a class file and share assignments with every student.
My Take
Dropbox is a wonderfully easy way to share files (even large ones) between people and at long distances. This cloud storage program allows me to sync my school files between my computers with almost no work. Dropbox is also available as an iPhone app to access my files. **Students must have an email address prior to signing up for a Dropbox account
