How I Use It

I used this program to teach my students how to save their files for easy access in any location, whether at home, at school or on the go! I showed them how to upload them to Drop Box, how to retrieve pictures from home and use them in class for educational purposes. One good aspect I did like about Drop Box was the app DropItToMe where students to drop their assignments online into my folders. This made for easy online submission with very minimal effort. Drop Box used a lot of bandwidth syncing files in the background so that created a problem. It's a little out-dated now with everyone having a Google account.

My Take

Was great for online storage before Google Drive, but it's out-dated and it takes up too much of your network bandwidth trying to sync in the background. If you use it, change your preferences to turn LAN sync off. One good aspect I did like about Drop Box was the app DropItToMe where students to drop their assignments online into my folders. This made for easy online submission with very minimal effort.
