How I Use It
Right now, I just use Dropbox to keep my personal files from my home computer stored. With not being able to download the desktop icon at work and constantly having to beg others to join so that I can get more account space, I've moved on to better products.
My Take
I love Dropbox for personal use. It's a great way to de-clutter your home computer and save all of your documents on "a cloud." Professionally, my new school district does not allow us to install the desktop ap to our work computers so the beautiful automatic syncing between my work and home computers that I previously enjoyed with my old district cannot happen. There's also the issue of space. You do get an OK amount of space when you sign up, but I find myself forever having to "invite" people to sign up for Dropbox in order to earn more space for my own account. If you're looking for cloud-like storage space, use Google Drive.
