How I Use It

I use DragonBoxEDU to let students "play" with the ideas of algebra before they have been introduced to the concepts. After playing the game we stop, and talk about it as a group. We make direct connections to algebra questions as they work through the levels. The practice area of the EDU game is great for going back and consolidating concepts.

My Take

I think this game is a great way for playing to learn some basic algebra concepts. The fact that the web based version is using the unity driver is a pain. Making it work on Chromebooks, all browsers with no add-ons and all mobile devices would make it much more user-friendly in a "bring your own device" class.
