How I Use It
I use this primarily for creating graphs to show students solutions to problems. I also gave students this link so that they can check homework on their own. I initially used this when my Algebra 1 students were starting to graph linear inequalities with two variables. I was quite impressed that it correctly handled shaded and solid lines depending on the inequality. I've shared this with the other math teachers in the school and they love it. It makes creating graphs simple and easy for those of us who don't have the best handwriting --and it's free.
This is a great free tool. It's quite powerful in that it handles a number of different types of equations quite well. It's also great for creating clean, neat graphs very quickly. You don't need much time to figure out how to use the basic features. When I found the site, I simply started typing in my equations and I was graphing in no time.
