Great step off point to learn Coding

How I Use It

I used this product during the Hour of Code and for the month that followed. Students enjoyed choosing their own activities. At the end of each class the students did a reflection paragraph about what they learned. These paragraphs were put together to form a reflection paper. The "art" images were embedded into the student portfolios. At the end of the unit students had a very basic knowledge of coding. During this time a local Computer Science professor and her students came to speak to the students about a career in computer science.
