Excellent introduction to coding simple enough for elementary students

How I Use It

We used this site for "Hour of Code" during Computer Science week in December. It was a huge it! The students were able to watch the videos and explore in order to learn coding. My first graders needed a bit more guidance, but they loved the challenge and still ask to play almost a year later! It is good for student directed learning and was a wonderful distraction in December for Hour of Code. The free certificates were motivating for my students.
