How I Use It
My students use this app when we talk about force and motion usually towards the end of the unit. Also I use this to get students prepared for our roller coaster wars in November. Most of the students need to learn to be creative and think outside of the box. Most of the app requires a background in simple machines. The app is about helping a girl to create roller coasters as the amusement park.
This is a great teaching tool to use at the end of force and motion. Vocabulary and examples would need to be defined prior to using the app. It works well with all learners in my 9th grade Science class. In the beginning students have trouble with making the roller coaster by clicking on the different curves and turns.
