How I Use It
When exploring a theme in class, my classroom used Google Cardboard. This enabled my students to take a virtual tour of a place we were discussing in class. The visuals and benefit of seeing a place referenced in class helped students visualize the place better and make them feel as if they, themselves, were there.
Google Cardboard is an incredibly beneficial tool. No previous knowledge is required when using this teaching tool. Google Cardboard puts a student at a historical landmark, different country, or in a place they never thought they could possibly see. It gives them a different perspective and helps create a picture to represent a specific place. If students are having trouble visualizing a place or event, Google Cardboard can be used to help create a picture and further learning.
