How I Use It
I allow the students to use this application to build relationships, break out of comfort zones, and engage with one another that, traditionally, may not have occurred. Games such as these help build relationships and for that it brought the class together in a way that might take longer than one academic year. Thus far, the game seems to be getting the kids active and engaged, so interactions continue to be frequent.
It is a good tool. I like that students can work together to earn points using a virtual identity. Role playing has not always resonated with parents and educators, but seeing it work in a classroom setting, now, only broadens the horizon for this game's expectations and paves the way for future interacting games.
