How I Use It
I use this product with my 8th grade Geometry students to practice skills learned in class. Students were assigned laws of sines and cosines practice with interactive real world applications. The students were very engaged and very much enjoyed completing the assignment. Students were able to log-in and find the assignment easily. I was able to see their score on the assignment on my end and assess their progress. When a student could not remember how to complete the problems, I guided the student to the instructional resources available right on the site. This product has so much more to offer, there is a place for discussions with other students, instructional resources that can be accessed from anywhere, interactive practice, procedural practice, and more.
My Take
This product is a great resource for teachers and students. This would be a great resource to use in a flipped classroom setting because of all the instructional material available as well as the practice problems available. The teacher can see what the students complete from the teacher view. Teachers can assign their students readings, instructional videos, adaptive practice, simulations and more. There is so much to offer and everything is curriculum standards based. This is a resource that is available to almost all subject areas. This is a great resource for teachers and students because it is interactive, engaging, and instructional. I recommend every teacher check out CK-12!
