How I Use It

This is the main research tool that I use with my students. I use it at times to build background knowledge or have the students use it while they are researching a certain topic. This can also be a great way to have students research a topic at home. I use this website with students in grades 1-5.

My Take

I think this is a great way for the students to conduct online research. It is a kid friendly tool and it's easy for the students to use. Students type in the topic they are researching and then they get a number of articles to read about the topic. I also like that there is an option for the article to be read to the student. This allows all students the opportunity to learn the information. If available, they also include images and videos on the topic. The site also differentiates the reading level for the articles. There are three levels, so you can reach all your readers.
