How I Use It
BrainPOP covers a wide variety of curriculum content for most grade levels. I've used it with elementary, middle, and high school students as guided lesson practice. After watching a video as a whole class, students did further exploration on an individual or small-group basis.
My Take
The videos are short enough to maintain student attention, but still packed with lots of information. The games are structured to require critical thinking as well as content knowledge, and are often accompanied by the videos that relate to the concept so students can review concepts.
