How I Use It
I use it with my whole group. In my classroom, I use it in a 15 minute block of time where its a transition for some students. I use it as a lesson teaching students about different comprehension questions and how to locate the correct answer. I very much like this site/app. I find it useful for my high and low learners to see how to find the correct answers and be able to understand the questions. I will have students sit on the carpet, after calendar time, and we will watch the featured film on Mondays. Then, we take the easy test. I have students use sign language to tell me their answer. Hands need to be under their chin, allows for individual accountability. We will go through the questions and answers, and eliminate what is and is not possible. Students are thrilled when they pair up and find the same or different answer and promote their thoughts. It's great to see the kids thinking at higher levels and understand more of what they are watching. I think it helps all my students- high and low. I think it's great they have two different tests. It's just too much to purchase on my own for a year- $145.
My Take
I think it's a great app/website for kids to be able to watch and listen to a topic and be able to answer a variety of Blooms/Costa's questions on the topic. Students are engaged and really like the ability to problem solve with the group the answers.
