Monday, April 26, 2021 - 3:00-4:00 pm PDT

Now that we are being asked to teach in two places at once, we need new strategies to help educators and students succeed. In this edWebinar, you will learn ways to manage both in-person and virtual learners in a HyFlex/concurrent model. First, we will discuss procedures. These are important to help ensure the success of both teachers and students. You will learn ways to personalize learning for students to get the most out of a unique model. Finally, you will learn ways to best engage learners to get them motivated as well as have some fun in their virtual or brick-and-mortar classrooms.

Presented by Christine McLaughlin, Sixth Grade Advanced Academics Teacher, Fairfax County Public Schools (VA); and Jered Borup, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Division of Learning Technologies, George Mason University (VA)
