Teaching about 9/11 is no easy task. As we commemorate the 19th anniversary of the attacks, our classrooms are filled with students who have no memory of that Tuesday morning. Given this distance, how can we help students understand what happened on 9/11 and appreciate its importance nearly two decades later? Join us as we discuss how to tackle this difficult subject and draw connections from 9/11 to today.
To make the most of this conversation, please participate in "Anniversary in the Schools," a free digital program for the classroom, hosted by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum on September 11. For more information and to register, visit: 911memorial.org/webinar.
