About Me

Currently, my main work is with at-risk students enrolled in the San Diego County office of Education (SDCOE) Juvenile Court and Community Schools. I run a hybrid independent study/blended learning pilot program for expelled and probation students from 8th-12th grade. My program is fully infused with technology, almost 100% paperless, and thus far, 1:1.

I am also currently working as an adjunct professor for Azusa Pacific University in the Educational Technology Department, working with teachers and future teachers to develop their skills in current and evolving technologies. I also function as a teacher-on-special-assignment for the Santa Cruz County Office of Education, guiding many of their teachers through Leading Edge Certification, a national certification program in education technology and curriculum innovation for online/blended teachers. Finally, I am also currently an instructor for SDCOE’s Bilingual Teacher Training Program, helping teachers pass the state’s CTEL exam to obtain their CLAD Certification…
