I was born in Mexico City and came to the U.S. when I was 8. I grew up in the district for which I currently teach. I went to the University of Pittsburgh for my undergraduate degrees and graduate degree. I recently finished principal certification at Carnegie Mellon University. I have 10 years of teaching experience. My first job was teaching level 1 and 2 Spanish for 8th through 10th graders. During my second job I taught levels 1 through 4 to students in 9th through 12th grade. In my current job, I teach Spanish to 6th through 8th graders. I love spending time with my family, my job, music, playing guitar, the outdoors, dogs, and anything education technology.
