Once, I was a teacher without a cell phone or even an interest in using video clips in the classroom. Today, I'm a teacher who regularly asks pre-service students to use wikis, develop and publish their ideas online, and consider how to develop their own curriculum using technology. I work to model good pedagogy, specifically how technology can be a tool for learning and student engagement.
I'm a professor of English at Fresno State, director of the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project, blogger at katheegodfrey.com, former Fulbright Roving Scholar in Norway, and lover of technology. I am also a Teacher Leader for the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project, a California Writing Project site affiliated with the National Writing Project.
