I am a very enthusiastic, creative, techy librarian in a smallish elementary school in a rural area just across the Puget Sound from the bustling metropolis of Seattle.
I have a bachelors degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Social Control and minors in Women’s Studies and Child Consumer and Family Studies. I wanted to be a Social Worker, but after working a few years I went back to school and got my teaching certification to teach K-8th grade. I have since earned a Library Media Endorsement and a Master’s Degree in Learning and Technology.
I work at a K-5 Elementary school teaching 325 students per week library and technology skills.
I love my job!
