About Me

Danielle Currently lives in Queens, and has over 15 years experience working within the non-for profit sector. Her areas of expertise can be summarized as an information and technologies specialist, a provider of kinesthetically developed curriculum for the “Learn by Doing” student, which includes the development of interactive e-learning modules, experimental STEM learning sessions, Maker Activity projects and other technologically enhanced learning development activities. 

Danielle has completed her, MS in Instructional Technology and Design from The New York Institute of Technology, Master of Library and Information Science from Queens College Her professional memberships include American Library Association, Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) and the Public Library Association.  Danielle’s research interest’s include but are not limited to; Collaborative Learning Concepts, Flipped Learning (Classrooms), Maker Movement in Education, Alternative Methods of Teaching (i.e. e-learning, pod casting), Society and Learning Environments, Employee Motivation, and Change Management and Human Performance.  She is currently employed as the children’s librarian for the Queens Library where she has over 20 + years longevity.
