Bio
I am an instructional technology coach in Huntersville, North Carolina. A former classroom teacher and media specialist, I earned my bachelor's in Secondary English Education and taught sixth-grade language arts for 15 years. In 2016 I earned a master's degree in Educational Media with a focus on Instructional Technology. In a collaboration with the Instructional Technology Facilitator and our school counselor, I developed a program to teach digital citizenship to students in grades five through eight. As a result, we were able to become a digital citizenship certified school, and in 2016, I became a digital citizenship ambassador through Common Sense Education as well. I am always eager to share what I know as well as learn new ways to teach students how to use technology responsibly and effectively!
