A thinker before anything else, I find satisfaction in taking a very close look at everything, from mysteries as unfathomable as black holes or the Bermuda triangle, to the amazing designs created in nature such as spider webs, snow flakes or the patterns that are our fingerprints, to the amusing and wondrous behavior that both animals and humans display on a variety of occasions. I have been teaching for a very long time (about 21 years) but it feels like I am still a learner, as I take a variety of turns on my way to trying to be an effective teacher for students who are constantly seeking new ways to be interested in learning.
