My Take

A tool like Wiggio is only going to be as good as the content that is fed into and shared through it. Wiggio will enhance great organization and resources while complicating poor resources and management. A great productivity tool for districts that may not have the funds, etc. to support a district-wide learning management system. This tool being free and not having registration for people who do not create groups has some serious potential.

How I Use It

I would use Wiggio to organize and share class/club information for ease of access and sharing. One place to send messages, store files, host conference calls and online meetings, have informal conversations, and create polls and events seems like a versatile and productive tool.

Students Collaborate and Communicate with this Private Workspace

I like how this tool helps students manage their learning. As a result, it is best for high school students are greater. I think it's important as a teacher to be a part of all the student groups so that you can monitor the activity, answer any questions, or clarify any misconceptions. It's the perfect tool for the project-based learning teacher or for school clubs and activities. The polls, voice and video messages, and calendar make it very easy to keep everyone in the communication loop!
