My Take
One of the nice things about TenMarks is how relatively easy it is to implement for students working at home or school. There's a weekly report sent to teachers, so teachers can keep track of how the students doing on the topics. Besides, on the report, teachers can see how long the students spend time working on it. Thus, teachers know if the students are struggling on the topics. Teachers can re-assign it as an optional homework for better score. My students love this part. They love to improve from their old score. However, I would say TenMarks is for advanced level performance students because the questions sometimes are hard to understand for lower level students.
How I Use It
I use it for homework assignment once a week. For example, I assign the homework on Saturday and have it due on Thursday. First, I need to know which common core standard for the week or I can just easily search the lesson skills I want the students to achieve. That takes lesson then a minute. Next, I can preview the question samples to make sure this is what I want the students to do. Last, I assign the class I want and set up a due date.
