My Take
I personally LOVE this website for my own use. It's like my own personal organization binder for home use. I mainly use it to organize recipes. I like that you can have notebooks for each topic you choose, and still apply "tags" to your various items so they can be found no matter what notebook they are in. I have yet to try this in the classroom, but I would like to pilot it with an older class to see how they adapt to it.
How I Use It
I use Springpad to organize lesson materials I find online. I can organize things into notebooks for each subject or topic. While I love this app for home and personal use, I have yet to use it in the classroom WITH my students.

Part Evernote, part Pinterest, one tool - it's all in how you use it
Springpad is an organizational tool that allows users to collect digital content into notebooks. With an app for all mobile platforms, extensions for Firefox and Chrome, and the handy Spring It! bookmark button, it's easy to save resources found online. It's also easy for students to review and explore resources collected by others - either the teacher or their fellow students. The uses for Springpad are limited only to the teacher's creativity: digital portfolios, collaborative research, or a literal "springpad" for practice and application through online content.
