Community Review for Sid's Science Fair
My Take
Yep, it's a really, really interesting tool for makin' a scientist. We love that. So I recommend this app, a very good idea to support PBS for many new programmes like this one. I think so, but PBS is the best place for science on public television. Especially my friends from 'GBH in Boston. More games and activities from Sid and their friends, available at pbskids.org/sid. Totally awesome!!!
How I Use It
This app is very important for make a new breed of scientists. Good for all the PBS supporters.

Great for teaching ELL students or students who are reading below grade level
This app can work great as an intervention or a teaching resource that could be used congruently with teaching practices. I wont not use their every day or every week, but rather as an introduction activity or during review or small group instruction. It does a great job of keeping students engaged but when students use it too much outcomes become predictable. This is extremely effective in teaching ELL students content specific vocabulary through an interactive platform.

Children are natural scientist. This product encourage science exploration at a young age.
My son scored well on his standardized science test in first grade. He enjoyed using this app.
