Community Review for Shakespeare's The Tempest for iPad
My Take
The play is at the heart of a social network that fosters rich social interactions and perspectives. By giving students the role of author or collaborator they develop deeper understanding and appreciation of The Tempest.
How I Use It
Being able to hear the play performed while reading along improved students immediate grasp of the plot, which allows for more time to explore more complex themes. The “my path” feature allows you to create your own path through the play. This can be used for research or a study guide by collecting a handful of passages about which you might like to write or read more closely.
