Community Review for ScreenChomp
My Take
Students enjoyed using the program but were frustrated if they did not complete the task in the allotted time as ScreenChomp did not allow them to save their work. I liked using it as an alternative assessment tool.
How I Use It
I used this app for students to collaborate and illustrate their understanding of finding area of an irregular polygon. I gave students a shape which they photographed and uploaded to the iPad. Next the used ScreenChomp as a whiteboard and demonstrated the steps to finding the area. They could record their voices also. Students then saved and submitted the final product. I liked using this app for assessment of a skill also.
