My Take
I am a fan of this product for my kindergarten classroom. I have watched students who struggled with other forms of presentation use this with enthusiasm. It does require some assistance for younger students, however, if it is used enough they can begin to use it independently.
How I Use It
I have used Screenchomp to allow students to present what they have learned from a classroom unit or from their own learning experiences. I have used it for them to create short biographies to share with the class. It's application is without limit. It allows them to add a picture and record their information in their own voice. It is especially useful for children who are not yet comfortable with speaking in front of the larger group.
