Great example of blending learning and a game. Not a curriculum unto itself.
I think it would be a great addition to a course on health, and well being. I could see it as a good learning activity in middle-high school courses. I also see it as a good learning tool if your community (school, etc.) is dealing with these topics.
How I Use It
I used this Re-Mission 2 following a mini-lesson on biotechnology. I used it as an example of a way technology/games can be used to educate others about a medical condition. What worked? The game is well designed and a lot of fun for the kids. I wouldn't say anything didn't work.
