My Take

Overall, I like this app. Students are exposed to multiple vocabulary words, including words most likely above their level. Although the book is long, it does provide a lot of information about seeds and plants. I could see this app being used as a lesson guide rather than an independent activity at a center.

How I Use It

This app is an interactive book, where Dr. Suess teaches us all about seeds and plants. This would be a good resource for students to access after a seed/plant unit has begun. The app provides plenty of ways for interaction, including vocabulary words. The students can also click on other items, like fruit and the characters. The names of these items appear on the screen and are said as well. The book is a little long, so I could see students potentially getting bored and not finishing.
