The bugs aren't worked out entirely, but I love it just the same.

My Take
Now, I would LOVE to use this with high schoolers. It's intuitive (to users of the inter webs) and fun and incorporates copyright protection as well. That said, my teachers were just so thrown off. "WHAT IS THIS THING?" The practice lesson taught me to teach the tech before I try to use it. Lesson learned.
How I Use It
I'll admit, this was an example lesson I made for teachers. I mixed in pictures from the New York Public Library's collection from Ellis Island at the turn of the century. In the background, I put a Soundcloud tune, and when the stage was set, I gave students the instructions for their project and the downloadable rubric. "Students" were to make a remix focused on one of the immigrants pictured in my mix. Here's my example: http://popcorn.webmadecontent.org/14w4
