My Take
This is a great app for my students. I teach Special Education, and my students love this app. I've never seen kids so drawn to a math program like this before. They don't want to stop! I love how easy it is to customize the app to the individual student. If I want to stress certain multiplication problems, I can do that!
How I Use It
I use it to reinforce math skills that we learn in class. For example, if I'm teaching a lesson on multiplying by 3. I can then set up the app to drill only the 3's. There's also an integrated scratch paper, this allows my lower students, to use tally marks or shapes to add, if that's what they need. I also use it for timed math drills. I need to keep a lot of data, so this app will also give me percentages and elapsed time. It's great.
