My Take
This tool goes as far as you can. Start students with multiple choice responses, then dig deeper with open-ended questions. Have them draw their work to see how EVERY child thinks, rather than just the go-getters. This tools has endless applications. It will also read to students as well as translate into other languages. Individualization for every kid!
How I Use It
I've used as a way for students to show work on math problems (rather than just pick an answer), edit correct sentences into one with errors (accompanied by a written explanation of the error and why it is wrong), and detailed responses to oral questions to allow everyone to share their thoughts. My favorite mode is when students get to response either in writing or through showing their work.
