My Take

Google Drive is simply cloud-based storage of files/images/etc. When combined with Google Apps for Education, it becomes a powerful digital tool in the classroom.

How I Use It

Google Drive is where all student and teacher created documents and files are stored. Students can word process using Google Docs, build slideshows using Google Presentations, build spreadsheets using Google Spreadsheets, and build online forms using Google Forms. Our classroom has become paperless because students use their Google Drive to store files and share them with group members and teacher. They can collaborate in real time by working in Google Docs.
