My Take
Dreambox offers students a great opportunity to work at a self directed pace. There is a great parent component and teacher data piece.
How I Use It
Dreambox is used as a rotation in our math classrooms.

Very visual and engaging, but no always friendly
Overall I really like this tool, because it allows most students to practice independent skills. I think it could be better if teachers were able to opt students out of certain lessons that don’t fit the standard or the learner.

DreamBox: The Educational Technology That Kids Use Because They Want To
I think it's an excellent teaching tool because students find it very engaging. I like how the activities aren't just fun, but directly related to the skills they need for math. Sometimes it is hard for students to find the activities that I specifically assign in DreamBox.
