My Take
The eBook is well done, but I don't know that I would necessarily use it for direct instruction with my students. It's great for exploration, extra time, enrichment, etc.
How I Use It
I used this eBook on an "explore" day to get students thinking about light, color and vision. They got to explore the activities, read the articles and discuss what they thought. I ended up including a section on optical illusions in our unit based on student interest generated from our explore day.

Engaging interactive ebook, which can be relied on in for many uses.
After looking for a color resources that would give my students better information than some handouts that I had been creating on the computer, I can safely say that intergrating this app into my class, especially courses that focus on color, like Painting 1-2 have seen their comprehension of the scientific meanings grow. I now have a tool to use to create assessments from, as well as push students in the direction to use on their own time.
The price point doesn't hurt either!

Very engaging activities to teach about light and color.
The only issue I have with it is that it is all experiential; there is no product to demonstrate learning.

Easy, book-like app for learning about color and light.
This app is like an interactive book for the iPad. Students flip from page to page, learning about color and light, and how our eyes interact with the world. This would be a great app for either a science classroom or an art classroom. It's a one-time-use only sort of app, as there are a finite number of pages and lessons contained within, but it's a great starting point.
