My Take
I have used Book Creator for a number of years on the iPad and now on Chomebooks. I have always appreciated the ease of use for students at any age for any subject area. With the recent updates students can now include hyperlinks to articles, videos, maps and more. They are not limited to what they can include in their book to share information about their topic. Having students being able to publish online to others makes them accountable to produce a good quality piece of work. I will continue to use Book Creator for my students and will encourage other teachers to do so also.
How I Use It
Students researched a topic in science and then created books on the topic. They had to use multiple sources of information along with vidoes, hyperlinks to articles and photos to support their text. They were able to do all of these requirements because of the kid friendly support of Book Creator.
