Community Review for Bobo Explores Light
My Take
This is a MUST have science app. Kids love it, learn from it and remember what they have learned. They choose this app for free time!
How I Use It
This app is a favorite in my class of grade 3 or grade 4 students. I let students explore this app and they are engaged in learning about all aspects of light. I am amazed at the information students pick up on their own by using this app. It is very well created and hits all of the basic objectives of our science benchmarks for light.

This independent learning app is a great way for students to learn science concepts about light, energry, and electricity.
The colorful pictures, videos, sound effects, and exploration activities make this app very appealing for students. They can easily move through topics which helps to keep them engaged. Lots of scientific information is presented for students to learn and better understand topics. While there is a lot of informational text, the pictures, short videos, and experiments keep students interested and allow for self-paced learning. Bobo Explores Light makes learning about science fun and educational!

Amazing Graphics and Animation.
This is an excellent resource tool for students learning about light. However, be aware that this is an eBook and not a game. Students can explore concepts like refraction with text, animation and a few activities. The content is engaging and useful for initial information gathering or research. Adding components such as interactive games, quizzes or extension activities would increase student engagement.
