My Take

This is a helpful additional tool for a hand on activity for students to practice what they learn about blood types and blood transfusion. I highly recommend it for both small group and individual use.

How I Use It

I use this tool, and also the website version in my High School Biology class, and my college Physiology class when teaching students about Blood Types. It is a fun way for them to administer the correct and incorrect blood transfusions to a patient and learn from their experience, how and why a patient with A+ blood cannot receive blood form a B- donor. It is fun, but does require a quick teacher led introduction into the topics first.
