My Take

I love it. It's advanced enough for some but can be simplified for the general ed or lower kids. I think if they could easily export an STL to 3D print, that would be the only improvement. Follow the tutorials yourself before so you can help the kids when they need it!

How I Use It

I had my students follow a youtube tutorial on creating a fidget spinner on autodesk inventor. There are lots of tutorials out there that could be used for younger students. 8th and 9th graders did pretty good following it. We also followed a block tutorial and then I let them create their own keychain to 3D print. They have to save it as an STL which is a little tricky, but they LOVE having something that they created themselves.
