PBS kids is an engaging way to help my special education students learn!

I have a self-contained special education classroom with 6-8th graders who have moderate disabilities. Although some of the activities are age-inappropriate for my students, we are able to use a variety of different activities on the site to practice our literacy and mathematics skills.

Great games for Kids (iPad supported internet connection required)

Kids love this game. I love the games too. It supports iPad, but sometimes not well! There is another bad thing, it is a website and I cannot find an app for it. Which means, it needs internet connection. We can not quite enjoy this game when there is no internet connection.

I recommend this site to parents of my PREK students, who are looking for an educational site.

Keeps the students engaged.

I really like this program, we use our mimio board and the students take turns. I teach Special Education so there is no more that 3 students playing at a time. It works great to teach students about taking turns.
