1 Hook/Attention Getter
The teacher will go over the alphabet with the students. Then the teacher will show the students that her name is made up of different letters of the alphabet. She will do this by writing her name on the board.
2 Direct Instruction
The teacher will then ask the students what letters of the alphabet their names are made up of.
3 Guided Practice
The teacher will have the students get into groups to discuss the different letters in their names and see if they have any in common.
4 Independent Work
Next, the teacher will have the students work independently on writing their name using this app.
5 Wrap up
Wrap up the lesson by making sure each child knows how to write their name. The teacher could have the students go up to the board to write their name.
