Open smartboard progream and explain -ough family. Teache will call up students to color code identify -ought word ending.
3 Guided Practice
Create a sheet with assorted words, includieng -ought words and have students cut them out and sort them into two piles.
Cut them out all of the words and sort them into two piles. Students will show one another their -ought words. Will practice singing the flocbulary song together.
Teacher will show the flocabulary video and use the assessment created in gooogle forms to ask students to pick whihc words are -ought from a list and identifying rhyming pairs.
