Teacher will show a flocabulary video related to -ought.If you can't find an -ought video then use a Flocabulary on word finding.
Students will watch -ought video and sing the Flocabulary rap together.
2 Direct Instructions
Open the smartboard program and explain what the -ought family is and show students how to identify the -ought family. Teacher will call up students to color code identify -ought word endings.
3 Guided Practice
Create a sheet with assorted words, including-ought words and have students cut them out and sort them into two piles.
Students will cut out all the words and sort them into two piles. Students will show each other their -ought words. And students will practice singing the Flocabulary song together.
