TSW SELECT A FAVORITE MOVIE AND THEN SELECT A CLIP OF THAT MOVIE AND ANALYZE THE TONE AND SYMBOLS WITHIN THAT CLIP AND EVALUATE TONE AND SYMBOLISM USED. TSW WILL GIVE FEEDBACK DIGITALLY THROUGH GOOGLE DOCS AND SHARE WITH EACH PERSON.

1 GUIDED INSTRUCTION

Teacher Instructions Teacher will explain the purpose of students brainstorming 3-5 favorite movies and the teacher will review tone and symbolism within a text. Students will then select the one movie from their brainstorm and students will pull up the movie via you tube and view a few clips from the movie and choose one ( 3 minute clip) of their choice that reveals the tone and symbolism they are focusing on within the clip.
